Imperial Ball 2015 – Arts in Motion at Fairmont Royal York on May 30
Keeps CCC a Vibrant Multicultural Hub

Toronto, May 6, 2015 – Chinese Cultural Centre of Greater Toronto (CCC) will be hosting the Imperial Ball 2015 on Saturday,May 30 at the Fairmont Royal York (100 Front Street West, Toronto) to sustain CCC as a vibrant multicultural hub. Arts in Motion is the theme of this year’s gala to celebrate the Pan Am Games when the torch relay will start in Canada on that very day.

Dr. Ming-Tat Cheung, Chairman and President of CCC, remarked “Being the Home for the West to meet the East and the Past to meet the Future, it is important to sustain CCC as a vibrant cultural hub serving the diverse community. Like the athletes who have put their years of intense training, perseverance and sacrifice to the test in world-class competitions, CCC endeavours to be a distinguished example of cultural excellence and relevance among all Canadians. We are proud to be one of the community stops for the Pan Am flame in early July. That will be a good opportunity for the neighbourhood to celebrate and share the spirit of the Game.”

About 30 reputable business corporations and community organizations have pledged their support this year. Rolex Boutique at Royal de Versailles is once again the Presenting Sponsor of the Imperial Ball. Royal de Versailles will donate a pair of unique white gold brooches valued $14,500 for live auction. Other live auctions items are two round-trip international business class air tickets from Air Canada and a high definition laser vision correction procedure by Herzig Eye Institute and Dr. Joseph Ma. DFC Auto Group and RBC Royal Bank continue to be the Honorary Patrons (list of other major sponsors appended). Silent auction items include LED TV, ipad, prestigious skin care products, coupons of various cuisines, fine wines, collectibles, golf club memberships, Chinese paintings, paper folding artwork and many more.
